Thanksgiving doesn't have to leave you feeling overly full or like you've begun a downward slide on your health and nutrition for the holidays. This paleo thanksgiving menu will leave you feeling full, satisfied, and proud of yourself for making healthy choices!

So often, Thanksgiving is the beginning of our "holiday slide." We make concessions for ourselves at Thanksgiving, only to find that the food and menu choices we've made have left us feeling bloated, full, and reminding us that we should have chosen differently.

The first time we made a truly full paleo Thanksgiving meal was a few years ago, and I'll never forget how good I felt. I was able to eat some of everything. There were tons of delicious flavors, and I didn't miss anything that wasn't there.

We had appetizers, an amazing smoked turkey, plenty of sides, and a delicious paleo pumpkin pie. There was no dairy, no gluten, no grains, no beans, no refined sugar. Everything was flavorful, satisfying, and we didn't feel sick to our stomachs after eating.

By choosing to have a paleo Thanksgiving menu, we chose to make a healthier start to the holidays, and you can too. After a paleo Thanksgiving menu like this one, you can continue to make healthier choices throughout the holidays, and be proud of yourself for not falling into the holiday party food trap!

    Paleo Thanksgiving Menu

Looking to make your Thanksgiving table healthier this year? Use this paleo Thanksgiving menu to keep all the flavor and none of the guilt.

From cranberry relish to roasted turkey, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie cupcakes, you won't believe how good healthy can taste!

    Cranberry Orange Relish

A tart and lightly sweet cranberry-orange relish will brighten your Thanksgiving table and bring a new twist to a classic favorite.

This relish is best made a day ahead and given 24 hours in the fridge for flavors to blend.

    Perfectly Roasted Turkey

Roasting a turkey for Thanksgiving doesn’t have to be complicated. Crispy skin on the outside, tender juicy meat on the inside is all you need for a delicious main course.

Use this recipe for a perfectly roasted turkey to get it just right!

Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes with Pork Rind Crumble

While that turkey is roasting in the oven, you’ll be making your sides. The time you save on the cranberry relish and the turkey is well-spent on these twice baked sweet potatoes.

Don’t skip the pork rind crumble – it adds a crunchy, salty texture that is next level!

Quick and Easy Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with a balsamic reduction all over, these brussel sprouts bring a both nutritious and delicious side to the Thanksgiving table.

Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes with Roasted Garlic

You don't have to miss the mashed potatoes! With more nutrients and less starch, this cauliflower mash with roasted garlic brings all of the flavor without leaving you feeling overly full.

Paleo Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cinnamon Meringue Frosting

You can't have a full Thanksgiving menu without dessert. These pumpkin cupcakes with cinnamon frosting are like individual pumpkin pies for the table. The cinnamon frosting beats whipped cream any day!
